It's New Year, and year-end party has started in North Atlantic sea, the luxury liner Poseidon. One of the finest vessels of its kind, Poseidon stands tallest at 20 stories, boasts 800 staterooms and 13 passenger decks.

Tonight, many of the guests have gathered to celebrate the New Year in the main ballroom. They raise champagne glasses as well as Captain Michael Bradford toasts the New Year.
Suddenly the First Officer senses see a huge wave, a monstrous wall of water over 30 feet high, bearing down on them with tremendous speed. The officer will try to divert the ship and avoid the greatest impact but it's too late

The wave strikes with colossal force and so she turns around completely. Hundreds of passengers rushing in freefall to be trapped under the debris and water. The survivors are grouped into the ballroom, the boat is sinking and you are destined to fight every minute. They must leave before the sea will steal the last hope to live.

The protagonist (Jim Carrey) loses his work, his wife (Jenifer Aniston) and he is very angry with his life. He has the opportunity to be God (Morgan Freeman) for one week.

He thinks this will be easy work. He discovers that this work is more difficult than he thought. Too many problems to organise, too many decisions. At the final he does not want to be God and wants to return to the life before. His life before is better.

NEWS: Passengers laid bare as full body scanners are introduced at Heathrow and Manchester airports

After the terrorist attack on Christmas Day full body scanners are now in Manchester and Heathrow airports. On Christmas Day a man from Nigeria wanted to blow up a jet plane. He failed to blow up the plane but now airports want more security. All passengers will not be scanned only some. One passenger said that the scan was not a problem and was quick.

NEWS: Giacometti sculpture fetches £65m at Sotheby's auction

This is the most expensive sculpture sold at auction. L’Homme Qui Marche, by Alberto Giacometti from Switzerland, was sold in eight minutes for over 65 million pounds. Giacometti has not made many sculptures so this is very special. Before the most expensive art sold at auction was Garcon a la Pipe by Pablo Picasso.

The study took 148 donors at a sperm bank in Shanghai. Tests showed that 76 had poor sperm and these donors worked with high temperatures and electricity, while 72 had

They believe the extra sleep is important for school children to recuperate on the sleep they miss during a busy week.
If they are asleep longer, it helps to lower calories from snacks.
